How often does my child have homework? Monday through Thursday, your child usually has homework in math and a language review on Thursdays. Homework should not take over 10 minutes.
How often does my child have to read? Students should read every day, but at least Monday through Thursday. They should read at least 15-20 minutes (more if they want!). It's great if you, the parent, reads to your child. It's a great bonding experience, and your child benefits from your modeling of reading.
What if we have a family emergency or get busy and my child really didn't have time to do their homework? Don't worry! Just write a note explaining that and send it with your child, or email me.
If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to email me or call me at the numbers listed on the home page. :)
